CHAPTER 2: HOW YOUR OWN MIND WORKS

Your subconscious mind is a seat of emotions, once it accepts an idea it starts to execute it. Just so you know mind works for good and bad ideas alike. If you think evil, evil will follow; if you think good, good will follow. When thoughts are conveyed to your subconscious mind, it proceeds to put it into effect immediately. It draws up all the laws of nature to get its way, sometimes it brings immediate solution to the problem, while sometimes it may take a week or more. You have an account of every idle word, for the subconscious mind takes no joke. It brings all things to pass, use your mind to bless, heal and inspire others. Conscious mind is the guide and director to the outward environment, it learns through observation, experience and education whereas the subconscious mind can see without being in contact with the environment, through intuition. Subconscious mind accepts whatever conscious mind believe is true, therefore conscious minds’ chief function is to protect the subconscious mind from making false impressions. Other peoples’ suggestions about you have no power over you; you have to give the mental consent to entertain that thought. When you set up an obstacle, you cause a delay in your conscious mind, denying yourself the wisdom and intelligence of your subconscious mind. You are what you think all day, so choose your thoughts wisely!
